Created in 1988 and ran by its founder members, Hydreka has formed part of the Technology and water division of  HALMA plc since March 2000.

HYDREKA offers a full range of services and measurement systems for the water cycle in France as well as in the whole world.

From the conception to the operating and the equipment maintenance, Hydreka is competent to provide help, advice, support and training for users of the range of  measurement systems. Hydreka's service is provided on an international basis.

Innovation

Our services :

• 1994 : Conception and implementation by our engineers of the hydraulic laboratories, rigs of gauging and control.
   
• 1998 : Equipment rental, the most important range in Europe
   
• 2000 : Running of our after sales department for all owners of measurement systems like the bubbler system, samplers and correlators.
   
• 2001 : Creation of the State-Certified Training Center led by professionals.

Our products :

• 1988 : Sales of first data loggers with 10 years battery life.
   
• 1990 : Development and production of electromagnetic insertion flowmeters, AQUAPROBE, designed to monitor  leak detection in co-operation ABB with SAGEP's support.
   
• 1991 :  Development and production of the Doppler flowmeter for flow measurement in open channels.
   
• 1993 - 1998 : Development and commercialisation of the multi-purpose data loggers EUROLOG then OCTOPUS® for drinking water and sewage applications.
   
• 2000 :  PERMALOG®, successor of METRASCAN and AQUALOG®50  created by Reten Acoustic (member of HALMA group) in 1989, is at the origin of a cultural revolution in leak detection.
   
• 2003 : Introduction in France of the correlator SoundSens, multi-point correlation invented by RADCOM (member of HALMA group) in 1998.

Winfluid software:

• 1989 : Development of the universal WinFluid software package for the data processing and analysis, compatible with all measurement instruments offered by HYDREKA.
  
  WinFluid is the most widely used software by R&D departments and drinking water operators.
